I was scrolling thru X and came across this tweet from Fishbach last
week concerning Rachel's SITD play.

Do we think Rachel knew where the votes were going and played the shot
to avoid voting? (I think that) And also to get a read on the other
players to see if they were sweatin.’

She’s a very smart player. #survivor

Here's Rachel's reply.

no, yes, yes, thank you ☺️

And here's Fishbach's reply back to Rachel.

Thanks, Rachel. This is really the ideal use of social media by
contestants still in the game - clarifying where I, specifically, am
wrong so that I don't embarrass myself further.

This is exactly why I love when players tweet. We get info to help
explain what happened and why. As long as they don't spoil anything I'm
fine with them tweeting all they want about happened in an episode or
past episodes.

That’s interesting. After E08, some of the people on “Sucks” were
saying
that she had played SITD to avoid voting but I didn’t mention it here
because
I thought that they were wrong. However, based on her reply to Fishbach, I
hope that, at some point, she explains why she didn’t want to vote.

I think people thought she didn't want to choose between Sam and Sierra
so she could avoid getting blood on her hands. But that doesn't make
sense if she didn't know where the votes were going. I'm sure she'll
explain her reasoning at some point.
